BESPOKE COACHING from grassroots to the premier league

RDA Coaching provides coaching support services from grassroots to the Premier League. Sessions are bespoke and tailored to each players individual needs and directly linked to their Individual Learning Plan. Level 4 Qualified Coaching from Richard Allen and Jonas Munkvold. Our experiences range from working in the men's and women's professional game to boys academies, being expert practitioners with academic rigour. We provide 1-1 coaching, small group sessions and team based consultancy. Our services range from Performance Analysis, Physical Development and Technical Coaching.

Richard Profile Image

Richard Allen

Owner and Founder

Having founded RDA Coaching in 2016, Richard has worked with many players from youth development to senior level in both men's and women's football. Richard also has experience of working as a performance analyst, teacher and coach educator. Richard is a level 4 qualified coach and qualified teacher, tutor and accredited performance analyst.

Richard is currently completing a Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Loughborough University whilst delivering education for WSL Academies and professional football clubs with loughborough College and Nottingham Forest FC.

David is a proven business leader specialising in business start-ups. Having a multifaceted career has allowed David to gain exposure to multiple cross-functional disciplines in areas such as finance, strategy, and marketing.

By identifying effective business strategies to increase brand awareness, David aims to significantly improve RDA Coaching's brand perception, visibility and value cultivating innovation and growth. In addition, David also has a Diploma in Management and Leadership.

Jonas Munkvold

Technical Lead and Director

Jonas started coaching at Välerenga, Oslo working as Head Coach working with boys and girls, from 5's to 19's boys and women's 1st team. Jonas & experiences Norway, England and in the Faroe Islands have allowed him to work in grassroots and professional environments across many different cultures. With a reputation as an expert coaching practitioner across Europe.

Jonas is currently a youth development coach and performance analyst at Nottingham Forest Academy, and has recently completed a Masters in High Performance Football Coaching at the University of Lisbon.

Tom Carney

Technical Coach and ILP Analyst

Tom spent 10 seasons as an academy player at Nottingham Forest before moving over to Sweden to play for IFK Gothenburg. Tom is now a UEFA A and UEFA Elite Youth Award licensed coach who has worked in the UK, Sweden and Denmark He has spent the last 10 years working at IFK Gothenburg where he has coached players from the foundation phase through the youth development phase and into the professional development phase.

Tom has also gained experience working as a scout, analyst and coach educator within youth development and at senior level. Tom moved back to the UK in 2022 and is delighted to be on board with DA Coaching and to be working with fantastic athletes.

Craig Heiden

Sports Therapist and S&C Coach

Craig is a Master's level Sports Therapist focusing on injury diagnosis and rehabilitation. He also has a degree in sport and Exercise Science. Craig has over 8 years of experience working in elite football at various professional football clubs whilst also working for the PFA and PGMOL. Having worked with many professional athletes across a range of sports, Craig offers a variety of services from Injury Rehab to Pre-hab Programmes.

Working with CH Sports Therapy, Craig is happy to support athletes throughout the season.

Jacob Wright

Strength and Conditioning Coach

Before joining the RDA Coaching team in 2022, Jacob became a Master of Sport & Exercise Science. His main area of expertise, however, is in Strength and Conditioning where he has worked with a variety of athletes ranging from professiona rugby & cricket players to academy football players. Notable experience includes Nottingham Rugby, Nottinghamshire County Cricket & Nottingham Forest.

Jacob is also an experienced personal trainer & youth rugby coach. Jacob is currently working at the University of Nottingham as a Strength & Conditioning coach. Here, he is responsible for delivering an effective Strength & Conditioning program for eight different sports teams to help improve performance & reduce injury risk. Alongside this, Jacob is a professional rugby player for Nottingham Rugby who play in the Championship league.

Working closely with FA WSL Academy players, Tom is a BASES Supervised Sport and Exercise Scientist in Sports Psychology. Tom's goal is to optimise your performance as an athlete with sports psychology. This goes much further than just sports performance alone, it includes improving mindset, enhancing wellbeing and individualised person development. "Sport is a high-pressure environment, and alongside the stress of modern day life it is crucial athletes have the tools they need in order to cope inside and outside of sport. I want to equip you with these tools.

Grace Adams

Grace pearson

Performance Lifestyle Practitioner & S&C Coach

With a passion for Female Athlete Health, Grace has recently completed her Masters in Strength & Conditioning, with a goal to help players reach their optimum performance whilst reducing injury likelihood.

As a former athlete herself, she has the personal experience and knowledge to specifically help female players progress. Having completed work experience in performance analysis at Chelsea FC, she understands the demands of high intensity football and the importance of attention to detail in order to succeed.Grace also Holds a Bsc (Hons) Sport Science Degree from Loughborough University, and competed with the BUCS Women's Football teams.

Jamie has experience working across numerous high level sports including football, rugby and netball where he currently works in conjunction with his role at Worcester University providing technical support within Performance Analysis. Jamie's ultimate passions lie in football and his past experiences waking within development football at Wolverhampton Wanderers feed his ambitions to want to develop players further through the use of analysis. Jamie has a MSc in Applied Performance Analysis and is always looking for new and innovative methods to introduce within his work to use with athletes.



ILP+ Analyst

Michael is a FA Level 2 coach and Southampton solent University Football Studies graduate from Zambia Michael aims to help players with their individual development using videos as a mirror. Analysis is a great tool for building a 1 to l connection with players as it provides players with the chance to talk about something we all tend to like talking about - OURSELVES.

ILP+ and Set Piece Analyst

Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Yagiz completed his coaching courses in England and Scotland, undertaking THE FA level 1, 2 and UEFA B licence. Having worked as a tactical analyst and coach in Turkish Super League teams for over 6 years, Yagiz is passionate about helping players with their development and decision making. Some of the youngsters which Yagiz has worked with are Zeki Celik (Lille), Cenk Ozkacar (Lyon), Ali Akman (Frankfurt) and experienced players such as Aaron Lennon and Hugo Rodellega.

Meng is a Loughborough University Sports Science and Management graduate. Meng has worked in the elite football industry both in the UK and Malaysia, having worked for Nottingham Forest Academy during his placement year and Cyberlynx FC in Malaysia.

Meng is Currently also volunteering for Basingstoke Town as a performance analyst.

"I believe that sports analysis can be a tool to help a good player become great and a great player become world class. I strive my hardest to present the analysis I do in a format that will be the most easily understandable for players and coaches."

Originally from Bath, Brad has been with DA Coaching as an IP+ Analyst since June 2021, also recently completing a spell as part- time Opposition Analyst at Nardo FK in Norway. Brad is a 1st class honours graduate from solent University in Football Studies and Business.

As part of his study, Brad published an academic paper in the International Sports Coaching Journal, detailing coach perceptions of virtual reality and the barriers and opportunities to its application in sports coaching

Performance & Recruitment Analyst

Liam specialises in analysis and scouting. He completed a BSc Sports Coaching degree at Leeds Beckett University and graduated in 2017. Throughout the degree he completed work within the Leeds United academy and Bradford City first team as well as being a FA Level Two qualified coach.

Liam been growing my analytics brand “Henshaw Analysis” over the past two years and recently held a position as recruitment analyst and Midlands scout for Wigan Athletic. A passionate Nottingham Forest fan, with a keen interest in the EFL.

Matt Dixon

Performance Nutritionist

Matt has been working as a Sport Nutritionist since 2013 in which he has supported a range of sports and age groups. He is currently a consultant for Coventry City F.C. and a range of youth performance pathways such as England Handball, Hockey and Athletics. He holds a Masters via Research in Sport Science from Nottingham Trent University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Sport and Exercise Nutrition from Loughborough University. Matt is also a member of the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr), which he is currently working towards his practitioner status.

Matt has been involved within several education roles within further and higher education courses related to sport science and nutrition. He currently works for the University of Lincoln as a senior lecturer in Health and Exercise Science managing and teaching on a degree partnership in Hong Kong.

Carl Edwards

ILP+ and Project Analyst

Carl has over 10 years of experience as an analyst working in New Zealand, United States and now the UK with experiences from Semi Professional, Youth National Teams and the professional game.

Whilst working in New Zealand, Carl was involved in player and coach development for the Auckland Region alongside coaching within Local clubs.

Carl is passionate about developing players and working on the individual side to improve their performances on and off the pitch.

Toki Olsen

ILP+ and Project Analyst

Tóki started coaching at Víkingur, Gøta in the Faroe Islands working as Assistant Coach for Víkingur’s U15’s for 2 years whilst also doing analysis for the U15’s. Tóki has travelled to Denmark and England visiting Academies to see and experience training in professional environments, which has allowed him to experience development in different cultures from Amateur to Semi Professional to Full Time Professional environments.

Tóki is currently Head Coach for Víkingur’s U13´s team, and is a B - licence coach from Faroe Islands.

Jenny Maxwell

Performance Lifestyle Practitioner

As a current international athlete with 40 caps for her country, Jenny has first hand experience of the demands of elite sport and what it takes to compete at the highest level. Her involvement in performance pathways while managing a dual career have ignited a passion for athlete personal development and player care.

Jenny has been using her experiences to provide performance lifestyle support to athletes and support their development on and off the field, most recently working with elite athletes at Loughborough University.

Jenny has a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and MSc in Sport and Exercise Physiology from Leeds Beckett University.

Guillaume Van De Wege

Guillaume started coaching at the regional level of Belgium's football system at the age of 16, working with U7 to U9 and U11's. Guillaume currently studies Movement and Sports Science at the University of Ghent to further develop themselves. During that time, their interest spread across to analysis too, delivering opposition reports for a USL Championship club and creating an online platform to write about and create videos of football analysis.

At RDA, Guillaume is hoping to learn more by working closely with his colleagues, working with players, and developing a special bond between players and coaches not seen elsewhere.
